We got the toilet installed, bathroom painted, pipes cut and ready to be moved. The last major part is installing the vanity.
Wyatt figuring out the light switch doesn't work.
We started on the first coat of primer for the kitchen cabinets. Primer white looks good! We decided to hire painters to finish the house. Neither of us enjoy painting and it was becoming a big stress with both kids playing in paint. Fortunately close family friends own a painting company! Big thanks to DiVito and Sons! Seriously, what took us days to do took them an hour. Big stress off our shoulders.
The kids room, Behr Mountain Haze. Seriously gorgeous.
Play room and Master are both Behr Vermont Cream.
The kitchen! It's our last big task we have to tackle. We laid the underlayment yesterday and my inlaws installed the tile floor. I cannot thank them enough for the help. Wrangling two kids leaves little time to help and it's definitely a defeating feeling.
Dish came out to install our satellite and that didn't go well. After walking through hip high snow we were told we needed to cut down trees to get signal. Channels went digital here so traditional bunny ears don't work. We're okay with not having TV- don't watch much more than the news and occasional PBS for the kids. Since we don't have a computer we decided to look into streaming devices.
We took the weekend off and it was a nice needed break. Shawn cooked an amazing Valentines Day dinner with Swordfish, broccoli and mashed Sweets. It's so nice to have access to fresh fish again. I loved Colorado but being landlocked was a bust.
Shawn passed his polygraph and should start his new job next month. He's flying out to Colorado this weekend to file out of the Army. I'm so proud of him for all his work and landing his dream job.
